About Us
The DuCharme family includes Mom, Dad, seven children and extends to their friends and family. Having spent most of their lives in Las Vegas, Nevada all of the children, now grown and with their own children and grandchildren still come home for Mom's home-cookin'. Dad has since past away but his contribution is still present in the cookbook.
This cookbook started right after Alton (the matriach and author) wrote the DuCharme Clan Cookbook in 1976. So much was left out due to time and deadlines that she insisted on an updated version; now known as MADPOTS COOKBOOK.
The DuCharme Family includes: Stephan, the oldest followed by Gregory, Marc and Eric. Next, we have Martha, Laura and Dawnie. We have Laura's family, husband Garth and children Dane and Ari. The older grandchildren include: Greg's Cameron and Amy (we lost Amy to leukemia, but she is still in our hearts), Martha's son Eric (a.k.a. Dewey or Lil' Eric), Eric's (a.k.a. Big Eric) son David, and Marc's son and daughter Nicolas and Danielle. Last but not least, the matriach behind this all:
Martha Alton DuCharme or the MAD in MADPOTS.
Our family has grown since the first publication and we couldn't fit everyone here. Look to the Madblog for the next generation's contributions.
